PESCI
International Medical Graduates (IMG) applying for registration to practise in Australia via the Standard Pathway must attain a satisfactory outcome in a Pre-Employment Structured Clinical Interview (PESCI).
The PESCI is a fitness-for-task assessment and interview conducted by a panel of assessors. The panel assesses each applicant’s skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the position for which they are seeking registration. The assessment is designed to measure an applicant’s ability to practise safely and effectively in Australia.
